imagesDuring the last few months, the HTC One has been among the most popular smartphone models on the market. The phone’s high-end spec list and stylish aluminium casing makes the phone one of the most advanced and stylish devices on the market, helping it to gain an enviable reputation and achieve millions of sales.

The device immediately stands out on account of its stylish aluminium chassis, making it arguably one of the best looking handsets on the market. The spec list of the device sports plenty of impressive attributes, like a 4.7 inch 1080p display, 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 4 Ultrapixel camera, Android Jellybean OS and HTC Sense 5.0 UI.

Alongside the flagship HTC One model, the Taiwanese manufacturer has a number of other high-end devices currently on the market. For example, the HTC Butterfly and recently announced HTC Butterfly S are some of the company’s other advanced handsets, but these are currently restricted to certain markets in Asia.

Pocket Lint has recently revealed that HTC may be planning to launch a new version of the HTC One, which will utilise the same format as its flagship device and is likely to borrow a number of specifications from the HTC Butterfly S. While this device has not been made official, the website reports that its source claims that the device would likely be released to offer a more affordable alternative to the HTC One. Apparently, HTC is planning to launch the phone at some point in 2014.

Before this device hits the market, we are of course still awaiting the launch of the HTC One Mini and the HTC One Max. These are set to be a more affordable version of the HTC One, which will be smaller and come with a number of downgraded specifications (HTC One Mini) and a larger phablet style device (HTC One Max). Because the device has not been officially announced by HTC, there is little further information currently available regarding its features or availability. Obviously, we will be sure to keep you posted when we hear of any further details about the device.
